Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients. This role includes monitoring patient conditions, coordinating care plans, administering medications, and supporting the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and families to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Ensure infection control, hygiene, and safety standards are strictly followed.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist during procedures.
• Participate in nursing shift handovers and attend regular departmental meetings.
• Support orientation and supervision of junior nurses or student interns, as required.
