- Proficient in Geomagic Design X/Wrap, Verisurf, Quicksurf & Polyworks softwires for reverse engineering, surface modelling, and processing 3D scan data.
- Ability to process and clean 3D scan data from various sources (e.g., CMMs, laser scanners, structured light).
- Convert point cloud or mesh data into accurate parametric or surface CAD models.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure dimensional accuracy and functionality of reverse-engineered parts.
- Experience working with complex geometries, castings, and legacy parts without existing CAD models.
- Ability to generate technical reports, inspection documents, and comparison analysis using reverse engineering software tools.
- Familiarity with exporting models to CAD platforms like SolidWorks, NX, or AutoCAD.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
