We are seeking proactive and technically skilled Sales Engineer – Structural Steel to drive sales and grow our client base in the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge of structural steel products with strong sales acumen to develop tailored solutions and close complex deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote structural steel products and services.
- Identify new business opportunities in the construction, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and procurement teams to understand project needs.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, bids, and quotations.
- Conduct site visits, technical meetings, and presentations with clients.
- Liaise with the design and engineering teams to ensure feasibility of proposals.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery timelines with customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
- Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales reports to management.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with pre-engineered buildings (PEB) or heavy structural steel.
- Familiarity with international and local steel standards
- Existing network within the construction or infrastructure industry.
