SAXOPHONIST

• Perform at various events, concerts, and recordings as a saxophonist.
• Collaborate with other musicians and bands to create and perform music.
• Practice regularly to maintain and improve technical skills and musicality.
• Interpret and perform music from different genres and styles.
• Memorize and perform complex musical compositions.
• Adapt to different musical settings and improvisation.
• Attend rehearsals and contribute to the creative process.
• Maintain and repair saxophone and other related equipment.
• Stay updated with current trends and developments in saxophone music.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to aspiring saxophonists.
• Reviewing the weekly and daily playlist
• Ability to adapt to changing programs on short notice
• Familiarity with improvising on the spot and taking requests
• Must have a strong voice and personality which will help attract different listeners
• Knowledge of modern music trends
• Should ensure smooth running of the program and always have a backup incase equipment face unpredicted issues
• Handle and maintain the DJ set equipment’s provided by the company
• Working at special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, parties etc.
• Taking equipment to the boat before the function begins and setting up
• Playing music all evening, coordinating the lighting to fit the music, entertaining the audience between tracks, making announcements and playing requests
• Dismantling and removing equipment at the end of the event
• Planning the set for maximum variety and effect to create the right atmosphere
• Playing and mixing records, ensuring there is no gap in the music
• Knowledge of and a passion for a wide range of music
• Good co-ordination, timing and sense of humor to keep your audience interested
• Creativity and a sense of rhythm and clarity
• The ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
