Job Summary:

ESS AE Holding is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations for its associated establishments in Egypt and Libya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multi-entity accounting, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering accurate financial reporting to group management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage end-to-end accounting operations for Egypt and Libya entities

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT regulations, and statutory requirements in Egypt and Libya

• Maintain and monitor general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations

• Handle group consolidation reporting and intercompany transactions

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning

• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits

• Ensure adherence to IFRS standards and company financial policies

• Provide financial insights and reports to senior management for decision-making

• Maintain proper documentation for audit, compliance, and ISO standards

• Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and government bodies

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff across locations
