- Lead the design and development of complex plumbing systems for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Conduct thorough hydraulic calculations and system modeling to optimize performance, efficiency, and water conservation.
- Prepare detailed plumbing design drawings, specifications, and technical reports using relevant software like AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate plumbing systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Review and approve plumbing submittals, shop drawings, and contractor proposals to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Conduct site visits during construction to monitor progress, address design issues, and ensure proper installation of plumbing systems.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable design practices to enhance design solutions.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, articulating design concepts and addressing technical inquiries professionally.
