Senior Electrical Inspector-Subsea Power Cables

Offshore Laying , Testing and Commissioning

• Assignment Location: Egypt, Offshore Construction & Cable Laying Vessel

• Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks Offshore.

• Mandatory Education, Qualification, and Certification:

  • Degree or Higher Technical Diploma in Electrical or Marine Engineering, or certified Offshore Electrical Quality Inspector credentials.

  • Proven experience auditing subsea cable deployment, marine hang-off installations, and platform integration procedures under IEC regulatory frameworks.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of international standards IEC 60502-2 (power cables with extruded insulation from 6 kV up to 30 kV) and IEC 60228 (conductors of insulated cables).

  • Valid and active offshore marine safety and survival certifications, including BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) or HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training).
