Lead the preparation, review, and approval of all instrumentation engineering deliverables, including datasheets, specifications, layouts, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, I/O lists, and cable schedules.
Develop and review project-specific instrumentation design philosophies, standards, and procedures in line with client and industry requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations e.g IEC, ISA, API.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams process, mechanical, electrical, control systems, piping, and civil) to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems.
Review vendor documentation for instrumentation packages, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.
Conduct technical evaluations, clarifications, and vendor bid assessments for instrumentation equipment and systems.
Manage and guide junior instrumentation engineers and designers, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion of work.
Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, SIL studies, and constructability assessments.
Support procurement activities, including technical bid evaluations and vendor selection.
Ensure instrumentation deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
Provide technical support during project execution, including responding to RFIs and resolving engineering queries.
