- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and identify potential issues or discrepancies.
- Analyze and review project contracts, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to develop and implement cost control measures.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices and terms.
- Monitor project costs and variances, and provide regular reports to management and clients.
- Assess and manage project risks, including identifying and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Provide advice and guidance to project teams on cost-related matters.
- Conduct cost audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with project budgets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve cost management processes.
