- Leading and carrying out complete Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting discipline designs to required standards and quality
- Carry out mechanical design for treatment plants and pumping stations to PWA standards and quality as and when assigned by the team lead.
- Initiating and developing the concept designs with optioneering for complete Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting systems designs,
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Preparing and generating spread sheets to carry out calculations.
- Coordination with other Discipline Engineers as applicable.
- Coordinate with BIM/CAD Technicians concerning project requirements and timelines.
- Conducting client and project meetings as required by the project.
- Carry out steady state and surge analysis modeling for pressurized networks.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met in all designs.
- Support the project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process to the relevant Authorities.
- Allocating resources and time effectively
- Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline.
- Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables.
- Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.
- Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to Seniors or MEP manager.
- Attend and contribute in team and project meetings as required.
- Complete accurate time sheets by set deadline.
- Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
