Required Experience
6+ years of total automotive experience.
Strong mechanical background: engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, and electrical systems.
3+ years of hands-on hybrid vehicle experience.
Hands-on experience on electric vehicles (EV): battery, motor, inverter, and charging systems.
Valid EV high-voltage (HV) safety certificate is required.
Manufacturer training from a major brand (Toyota, Lexus, BYD, Tesla, Hyundai, Nissan, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and complete complex repair jobs on EV, hybrid, and mechanical vehicles.
Diagnose difficult problems using scan tools, oscilloscopes, and service manuals.
Work safely on high-voltage (HV) systems and follow all safety steps.
Be the technical reference point for the team.
Train and guide junior and mid-level technicians on hybrid and EV systems.
Do quality check on critical repair jobs and sign them off before delivery.
Support the supervisor in planning daily work and managing tools.
Complete job cards and update the work order system.
Test vehicles after repair to confirm quality.
Report any safety or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
