Nair Systems is currently looking Senior Telecom/Collab Admin our Qatar operations.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Communications Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Telecom Systems support . Experience in financial institutions is a plus.
Professional training on the relevant systems.
Required Special Skills :
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Self-driven with well-developed leadership and team-building skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Telecom Infrastructure Management
Administer, design, and support telecom and collaboration systems, including:
IP Telephony systems
PSTN / PRI / SIP telephony lines
ADSL lines
Voice recording systems
Video conferencing systems
Structured cabling (internal and external networks)
Ensure high availability and optimal performance of telecom systems across all Group locations.
Customer (Internal & External):
Handles efficiently & effectively the bank’s Telecom systems and services that extend to all users
Maintains relationships with selected vendors for Telecom hardware & software for proper handling & support of telecom equipment/services
Maintains effective relationship with all other related departments & units to achieve the Group’s goals & objectives in Telecom systems availability & monitoring.
Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):
Responsible for the handling & maintenance of Telecom systems & equipment at the Group’s sites
Performs on-site & remote technical support of Telecom Systems and equipment.
Liaises effectively with Ooredoo regarding Telecom lines & services provided by them
Evaluates existing Telecom systems, and proposes possible improvements
Handles Telecom projects, and ensures the compliance with requirements & deadlines.
Enforces approved Telecom policies
Maintains proper documentation of Telecom Systems network
Supervises the related Telecom resources & vendors.
Learning & Knowledge:
Maintains a working knowledge of Telecom operation and monitoring systems.
Possesses in depth technical knowledge in Telecom systems to ensure reliable service delivery and security and resolve any business disruption or inconvenience to users.
Maintains working knowledge of Telecom operating regulations and guidelines along with any other related industry standards.
