ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Site Civil Engineer to join our project delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and UAE construction standards. Experience in real estate and hospitality projects will be a strong advantage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Execution & Supervision:

• Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure construction works are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.

• Monitor progress against project schedules and report delays or risks to the Project Manager.

• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety regulations, and UAE construction codes.

Construction Coordination:

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.

• Attend site meetings and provide technical input and progress updates.

• Liaise with consultants for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures on site.

• Conduct regular inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required.

• Ensure all works comply with approved method statements and material submittals.

Drawings & Technical Support:

• Review construction drawings and resolve site-level technical issues.

• Prepare and submit RFIs, shop drawings, and as-built documentation as required.

• Support value engineering initiatives without compromising quality or compliance.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and site safety procedures.

• Identify potential hazards and ensure preventive measures are implemented on site.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and inspection records.

• Support project close-out documentation and handover processes.
