We are looking for an experienced Piping Commissioning Specialist to support offshore commissioning activities on an oil and gas project. The role is responsible for ensuring that all piping systems are mechanically complete, inspected, tested, cleaned, reinstated, and safely handed over in compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable international standards.
Job Responsibilities
Support offshore commissioning activities for piping systems, including Carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy, and lined piping systems
Verify mechanical completion and system readiness for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover
Review, manage, and close piping punch lists in coordination with construction and QA/QC teams
Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to ensure proper work sequencing and interface management
Witness and support piping pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including Pressure testing (hydrostatic and pneumatic), Flushing, blowing, cleaning, and drying, Chemical cleaning (where applicable), Reinstatement and final line acceptance
Ensure piping systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, codes, and procedures
Verify line completeness, valve orientation, temporary removal, and reinstatement prior to system handover
Support preparation, review, and completion of commissioning dossiers, test packs, and handover documentation
Participate in offshore safety meetings, toolbox talks, and commissioning readiness reviews
Monitor and report commissioning progress, risks, and technical issues to the Commissioning Lead and Project Management Team
Ensure full compliance with offshore HSE regulations and safe work practices
