We are looking for an experienced HVAC Commissioning Specialist to support offshore commissioning activities on an oil and gas project. The role is responsible for ensuring that all HVAC systems are mechanically complete, tested, balanced, verified, and safely handed over in compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable international standards.
Job Responsibilities
Support offshore commissioning activities for HVAC systems, including: Ventilation systems, Pressurization systems, Air conditioning systems, Smoke extraction systems
Verify mechanical completion and system readiness for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover
Review, manage, and close HVAC punch lists in coordination with construction and QA/QC teams
Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, fire & gas, and commissioning teams to ensure proper work sequencing and interface management
Witness and support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including: Functional testing, Airflow measurement and balancing, Performance verification and acceptance testing
Ensure HVAC systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and safety requirements
Interface with fire & gas and safety systems to ensure HVAC integration complies with hazardous area and safety philosophies
Support preparation, review, and completion of commissioning dossiers, test records, and handover documentation
Participate in offshore safety meetings, toolbox talks, and commissioning readiness reviews
Monitor and report commissioning progress, risks, and technical issues to the Commissioning Lead and Project Management Team
Ensure full compliance with offshore HSE regulations and safe work practices
