- Oversee the installation and maintenance of ductwork systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to establish timelines and ensure seamless integration of ducting systems into larger HVAC projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of ducting installations to identify any defects or areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead and mentor a team of ducting technicians, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting complex installation challenges.
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress, including any delays or issues encountered, and communicate these effectively to stakeholders.
- Ensure that all ductwork is installed efficiently to maximize energy efficiency and airflow, contributing to the overall performance of HVAC systems.
- Manage inventory and ordering of ducting materials and tools, ensuring that projects are adequately stocked to avoid delays.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites, conducting safety training sessions for team members to minimize workplace accidents.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients, engineers, and team members to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
