- Visual inspection as per codes & standard before NDT.
- Interpretation of Radiographic films.
- Perform and witness UT, MPI and LPI tests.
- Monitoring NDT activities affecting the quality of welds contained each piping spools of an isometric have been completed and accepted.
- Preparing Weekly and Cumulative Weld Status Report.
- Preparing Monthly Weld Status Report and report to QC Manager.
- Prepare NDT request including PWHT if applicable, for visually accepted joints to cope up with the NDT percentage requirements as per line class including welder's performance percentage.
- Familiarize with the approved quality and inspection plan.
- Familiarize with approved drawing, standards, and specifications.
- Preparation of final documents including NDT (RT, MT & PT) reports.
- Controlling welding repairs by taking corrective actions.
- Coordination with client and NDT sub-contractors.
- Follow up NDT backlog with sub-contractors.
