Based from head office the successful candidate will see projects through from tender to mobilisation to construction phase where they will monitor project performance. Tendering Participating in Clients prequalification workshops. Providing technical and contractual support to Proposal Managers ➢ Participating in technical clarification meetings with Clients & EP Partners. ➢ Participating in Risk Assessment Workshops. ➢ Participating in construction planning workshops with clients. ➢ Participating in soliciting and negotiations with major subcontractors and vendors. Initiation & Mobilisation .➢ Acting as Project Manager leading on all early works requirements. ➢ Managing all dealings and interfaces with Clients & project stakeholders. ➢ Ensuring timely preparation of Contract Deliverables (Plans, Procedures, Method Statements, etc.). ➢ For EPC projects, establishing Home Office coordination tasks to interface with Engineering Partner and/or Subcontractors. ➢ Performance and Progress Reporting during early works. ➢ Continues Home Office coordination tasks until completion of Engineering and Procurement support requirements. ➢ Overlooks execution of project with emphasis on construction performance on site. Desired Candidate Profile A degree in Engineering 15+ years experience of working on large scale construction projects MUST have experience of the tendering and initiation stage of projects Able to build relationships with clients and stakeholders Excellent presentation and reporting skills An eye for detail and excellent organisational skills The candidate must able able to travel easily throughout the Middle East so applications are encouraged from Arab and European nationals
