Drydocks World-Dubai is the largest shipyard facility in the Middle East and is the flagship company of Dubai World subsidiary Drdocks World. A shipyard that is located in one of the most rapidly growing regions of the world, it is also a preferred choice for vessel conversions, new buildings and offshore construction. Drydocks World-Dubai completed its 30 years of operation in 2008, repairing over 7500 vessels so far. 

Drydocks World-Dubai is known for its state-of-the-art facilities, and modern equipment which provide it specialized LNG handling capability. The Dubai shipyard facility is certified by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance for meeting ISO 9001, OHSAS18001 and ISO 14001 requirements. It is also authorized by ASME and National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors for the usage of ‘U’, ‘R’ AND ‘NB’ stamps. Drydocks World has also been awarded a 5-star certification from British Safety Council for its highly efficient safety management system. It became a member of the honorary club of rare shipyards that have been awarded the much coveted British Safety Council Sword of Honour in 2012. The ambitious project was conceived under the guidance of H.H Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed-Al Maktoum, the late ruler of Dubai. Key Responsibilities Policies, Processes & Procedures: Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Ensure employees are aware and follow the information Security Rules and data security measures in order to protect the company information / intellectual properties. Day- to-day operations: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to production processes including Production Planning and control, Prefabrication, Fabrication, Execution (Work Order Management) and commissioning.
