Job ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership & Project ManagementLead and manage interior design projects independently across hospitality,residential, and commercial developments.Develop innovative and functional design concepts aligned with Dugasta’s brandidentity, project objectives, and market positioning.Contribute strategically to the growth and structure of the Interior Designdepartment by supporting processes, frameworks, and operational standards.Provide commercially informed design recommendations, market insights, andvalue-engineering solutions to management.Ensure all projects are delivered in line with design intent, budgets, timelines, andquality standards.Design DevelopmentPrepare and oversee: - - - - - -Concept presentationsMood boardsMaterial palettesSpace planning layoutsFF&E selections2D/3D presentations and renderingsLead space planning exercises for multiple project typologies while ensuringoperational efficiency and user experience.Develop comprehensive design documentation, technical details, andspecifications.Technical CoordinationCoordinate with architects, consultants, project managers, and contractorsthroughout all project stages.Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, schematics, materialsubmittals, and mock-ups to ensure alignment with design intent and projectrequirements.Manage design coordination between all disciplines to resolve technical and siterelated challenges efficiently.Direct and support 3D visualizers by providing clear design guidance, technicalinformation, and timely feedback.Developer-Side ResponsibilitiesRepresent Dugasta’s interests throughout the design, procurement, andconstruction phases.Monitor design quality, budget control, procurement coordination, and valueengineering initiatives.Participate in consultant and contractor evaluations, tender reviews, andselection processes.Ensure project execution aligns with commercial, operational, and brandobjectives.Procurement & FF&EOversee FF&E documentation, specifications, schedules, and procurementcoordination.Liaise with local and international suppliers to source furniture, materials,fixtures, and equipment in accordance with Dugasta’s standards.Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier terms while maintaining quality andbudget objectives.Maintain organized procurement records, approvals, and trackingdocumentation.Site Supervision & Project DeliveryConduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure designexecution complies with approved specifications.Support project engineers and contractors during implementation to resolve siterelated design issues.Ensure all deliverables from the Design department are completed accurately, onschedule, and to Dugasta’s quality standards.Prepare project progress reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders andmanagement.Branding & DocumentationDevelop and maintain project documentation, including reports, approvals,correspondence, and design records.Prepare brand guideline documentation where required to ensure consistencyacross projects and client portfolios.Lead the development of branding, wayfinding, and signage concepts as part ofthe overall project scope.Ensure all approvals, signed documents, and project records are properlyorganized and archived.AI Integration in DesignUtilize AI-powered tools and technologies to enhance creativity, workflowefficiency, and project delivery. - Apply AI tools for: - Concept and image generation - Space planning assistance - Design visualization and rendering - Material and style exploration - Presentation development - Workflow automation and documentation supportStay updated on emerging AI technologies and implement innovative solutions within thedesign process
