To Lead detailed model building, tuning and integration of the models for OTS projects, meeting project requirements and quality assurance of the simulators being delivered.Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesResponsible for the engineering activities of Operator Training System (OTS) to provide value-added engineering solutionsEnsure successful completion of design; achieve desired quality to meet all design review and internal audit requirementsManage project schedules to meet delivery time lines of model sections for integration.Working to specification for model areas.Identify technical issues and obtain clarification.Participate in OTS project validation and witness testing.Qualification and ExperienceA Degree in Chemical Engineering.Minimum 8 years experience in the dynamic simulation of oil and gas, refinery and chemical processes.Experience of Operator Training Simulators and dynamic process simulation studies.CompetenciesHave the spirit working with others, and building team works.System Design Engineering analysis and techniques, Preparation of Project documentation, Report progress to lead engineer.Exposure to different Simulation Software used such as Shadowplant, HYSYS, Dynamism, Aspen plus, Pro II.SkillsExperience in modeling and implementing high fidelity training simulator in industrial process units (oil & gas, petrochemical, etc.)Knowledge and experience in various control systems and applications such as DCS, ESD, APC, OMS, etc. will be advantageousProject Report writing skills.
