Responsibilities:

  • Daily Application Support: Provide technical and operational support for the company’s applications to ensure their optimal performance.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify technical issues in applications and work on resolving them promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaboration with Technical Teams: Coordinate with development and systems teams to understand technical requirements and resolve technical issues.
  • System Management: Monitor application performance regularly to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports on resolved issues and document the actions taken.
  • Training and End-User Support: Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use the applications.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze application usage and performance to identify potential issues that may affect productivity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Research ways to enhance application performance and propose improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of different operating systems and databases.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Familiarity with tools and techniques used in support, such as error tracking and incident management systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems or business-specific applications.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and reporting tools.
  • Experience with cloud systems or hosted applications.
