- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, runs, or blemishes, and perform touch-ups or rework as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and proper waste disposal practices.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain high standards of quality control.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in automotive painting, including color matching and specialty finishes.
- Conduct pre-paint inspections to identify and address any underlying issues that may affect the final outcome.
- Document work performed and materials used for each project to ensure accurate billing and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations on finishes and colors.
