Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst (BA) with deep expertise in mobile interfaces, digital banking, and financial technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user journeys, customer onboarding, and transactional experiences within digital banking ecosystems. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, UX awareness, and fintech product knowledge to bridge business needs with technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Analysis & Digital Journey Optimization
  •  Analyze, document, and refine end-to-end mobile banking user journeys to enhance customer experience and drive adoption.
  •  Identify pain points and friction areas in mobile banking flows, including onboarding, payments, lending, and card management.
  •  Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into functional requirements.
  •  Conduct competitive benchmarking and identify best practices in mobile banking experiences.
2. Mobile UX & Interface Expertise
  •  Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless, intuitive, and user-centric mobile experiences.
  •  Define requirements for mobile app interfaces, navigation flows, and micro-interactions that improve engagement and usability.
  •  Conduct usability testing and analyze customer feedback to iterate on mobile journey improvements.
3. FinTech & Regulatory Compliance Understanding
  •  Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance (e.g., SAMA, DIFC, FCA), KYC, AML, and Open Banking.
  •  Ensure that all digital journeys align with compliance, risk, and security frameworks for financial institutions.
  •  Work with technical teams to integrate APIs, third-party fintech solutions, and payment gateways.
4. Data-Driven Decision Making & Performance Monitoring
  •  Define key KPIs for digital journeys and track performance metrics such as conversion rates, drop-offs, and engagement.
  •  Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, AppDynamics) to extract insights and recommend optimizations.
  •  Work with data teams to enable personalized banking experiences through behavioral analytics and AI-driven insights.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Agile Delivery
  •  Act as a bridge between business, product, design, and development teams to ensure smooth execution of digital banking initiatives.
  •  Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensuring backlog refinement.
  •  Conduct workshops and training sessions for internal teams on digital banking best practices.
Key Requirements:
Experience & Skills:
  •  8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in fintech, banking, or a related digital domain.
  •  Proven expertise in mobile app user journeys, interfaces, and customer experience strategies.
  •  Deep understanding of digital banking products such as credit cards, loans, payments, remittances, and wealth management.
  •  Strong knowledge of financial technology trends, including embedded finance, open banking, BNPL, and AI-driven banking.
  •  Ability to define and optimize customer onboarding flows, KYC verification, and self-service experiences.
  •  Experience working with API-based banking architectures, payment integrations, and third-party fintech services.
  •  Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar tools.
Soft Skills:
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for optimizing user journeys.
  •  Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  •  Detail-oriented with a structured approach to documentation, workflows, and business cases.
  •  Agile mindset with experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

  •  Experience in Conversational AI/NLP-driven banking interfaces.
