The Chargehand plays a vital role in supervising a small team of workers and ensuring that construction tasks are completed according to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols. Reporting to the Foreman or Site Supervisor, the Chargehand assists in day-to-day site operations, oversees specific work areas or tasks, and ensures that workers have the necessary tools, materials, and instructions to carry out their duties efficiently. Chargehand acts as a link between workers and site management, ensuring that communication and workflow are maintained smoothly.
