Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer with at least 15 years of experience working with a consultant on building / High-rise projects. The ideal candidate will have strong site supervision skills, a commitment to quality assurance, and a proactive approach to compliance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and inspect contractor construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify non-conformances, issue site instructions or NCRs, and verify corrective actions
- Coordinate with contractors, to resolve site issues
- Ensure all works adhere to local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Review and verify construction documents, checklists, and material submittals for compliance
- Monitor site safety practices and report any unsafe conditions.
- Verify all quality control procedures and checklists are properly implemented at site

- Provide daily updates to the Resident Engineer (RE), thoroughly documenting site activities, progress, issues, as required.

- Witness and verify construction activities and tests, such as concrete pouring, rebar fixing, excavation, and material testing, to meet project specifications.

- Conduct thorough inspection of contractor-supplied materials upon delivery to site, verifying their conformity with approved submittals, specifications, and quality standards before allowing their use in execution.
