Commercial & Contract Management
Lead commercial management of joinery projects from tender stage through project close-out
Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions, including variations, extensions of time (EOT), and final accounts
Identify, evaluate, and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, payment terms, and employer requirements
Claims & Dispute Management
Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate claims, counter-claims, variations, and EOT submissions
Maintain detailed claim records, supporting documents, and correspondence
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and legal advisors on claim strategy and resolution
Support dispute avoidance and, where required, dispute resolution processes
Cost Control & Reporting
Establish project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
Monitor project costs, profitability, and commercial performance against approved budgets
Review subcontractor quotations, negotiate terms, and manage subcontract agreements
Prepare monthly commercial reports, cost/value reconciliations, and management dashboards
Tendering & Procurement Support
Support tendering and bid teams with commercial inputs, risk assessments, and pricing strategies
Review tender documents, commercial terms, and contract conditions prior to submission
Participate in post-tender negotiations and contract finalization
Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Planning, Procurement, and Finance teams
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to protect company commercial interests
Provide commercial guidance and mentoring to junior commercial staff
