Interpret alignment sheets, P&IDs, isometrics, route maps, and construction drawings for both new pipeline construction and R&R works.
Conduct site surveys along the Right‑of‑Way (ROW) to assess terrain, access, existing utilities, and pipeline conditions.
Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and construction execution plans tailored to cross‑country conditions.
Coordinate with engineering teams for design changes, field modifications, and material clarifications.
Manage cold cutting, hot cutting, isolation, purging, and safe removal of existing pipeline segments.
Execute tie‑ins between new and existing pipelines during shutdowns or controlled isolation windows.
Ensure safe handling, lifting, and transportation of removed pipeline sections.
Oversee stringing, bending, welding, lowering‑in, and backfilling of new pipeline sections.
Ensure correct alignment, welding sequence, NDT compliance, and coating integrity.
Coordinate trenching, padding, HDD/boring works, and road/utility crossings.
Manage hydrotesting, pigging, drying, and commissioning activities.
Enforce strict adherence to oil & gas safety standards, PTW systems, and pipeline isolation procedures.
Ensure compliance with API, ASME B31.4/B31.8, and local regulatory requirements.
Lead daily site activities involving welders, fitters, riggers, equipment operators,
Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, survey teams, coating crews, and NDT agencies.
Monitor progress, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and material availability.
Resolve field issues quickly through practical engineering judgment.
Ensure compliance with WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, and NDT requirements.
Review coating reports, weld maps, test packages, and as‑built documentation.
Manage punch lists, mechanical completion, and final handover documentation.
