- Responsible for installing electronic components using welding equipment and hand tools,
- Act as a technical expert on electromechanical issues, responsible for the follow up of one fleet of equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting tasks, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on equipment and substations.
- Test the performance of electromechanical parts, using test instruments such as oscilloscopes or electronic voltmeters.
- Review technical documents for work planning, and prepare written documentation of electromechanical test results, as well as analyse and record test results, prepare written documents.
- Responsible for the follow-up of a fleet of equipment as defined by workshop manager.
- Ensure database is kept up to date and KPI’s are on target.
- Follow Health, Safety & Environment policy and procedures are observed as well as all relevant safety legislation and the provisions of the relevant local laws.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement process and in the meeting of business objectives. This includes providing suggestions and input to changes and improvements in all policies and procedures.
