Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain all IT hardware including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, biometric systems, CCTV systems, and networking devices.

• Monitor performance of servers, firewalls, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.

• Ensure uptime and smooth operations across all locations.

• Plan infrastructure upgrades and capacity improvements for a 200+ user environment.

  1. Network & Security

• Configure and manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, and VPN access.

• Monitor firewall security and prevent cyber threats.

• Implement antivirus, endpoint security, and access control policies.

• Ensure proper user access rights and password policies.

• Conduct periodic vulnerability checks and security audits

  1. Server & Cloud Management

• Manage file servers, application servers, email systems, and backup servers.

• Maintain data backup policies (daily, weekly, offsite/cloud backup).

• Coordinate cloud services (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace if applicable).

• Ensure disaster recovery readiness.

  1. ERP & Software Support

• Provide technical support for ERP system used by Al Mezoon & Herringbone.

• Coordinate with ERP vendors for troubleshooting and upgrades.

• Ensure proper database backups and performance monitoring.

• Support accounting, HR, procurement, sales, and factory modules.

  1. User Support & Helpdesk

• Provide technical support to 200+ employees.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and email issues.

• Maintain IT ticketing system and response timelines.

• Conduct basic IT training for employees when required.

  1. IT Asset & Vendor Management

• Maintain IT asset register (hardware, software licenses).

• Track AMC contracts and warranty records.

• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and service agreements.

• Control IT-related expenses within approved budgets.

  1. Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain IT policies and SOPs.

• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and WPS-related IT controls if applicable.

• Maintain network diagrams and infrastructure documentation.
