Role Summary

The Finance Manager will lead the firm’s financial planning, control, and compliance functions while also overseeing essential HR operations for a growing marketing firm. The role is primarily finance-focused, with limited but critical responsibility for HR administration and people processes.

Key Responsibilities

Managing Finance for the Firm (70–80%)

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including AR/AP, general ledger, payroll coordination, and monthly/annual closures.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports for management review.
• Ensure statutory compliance, tax filings, audits, and liaison with external auditors, banks, and consultants.
• Track project-wise profitability, client billing, collections, and cost controls.
• Establish financial controls, policies, and MIS reporting to support business decisions.
• Support leadership with financial insights, forecasts, and risk assessments.

Managing HR (20–30%)

• Oversee core HR operations including employee records, contracts, attendance, leave, and payroll inputs.
• Coordinate recruitment logistics and onboarding for new hires in collaboration with hiring managers.
• Support performance review cycles, increment planning, and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with basic labor laws and internal HR policies.
• Act as the point of contact for employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and policies.
