Position: Insurance Claims Officer
Location: Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Purpose

The Insurance Claims Officer will be responsible for efficiently managing general insurance claims, including reviewing, assessing, and processing claims. They will also ensure timely policy renewals and provide excellent service to policyholders while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Claims Management: Receive, register, and acknowledge claims from policyholders.
    Investigate and validate claims by reviewing supporting documents and coordinating with assessors, surveyors, or other stakeholders as needed.
    Ensure claims are processed within stipulated timelines and in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  2. Policy Renewals: Proactively manage policy renewals by engaging with clients and providing necessary support.
    Ensure all renewal terms are updated and processed accurately in the system.
  3. Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the claims and renewal process, providing timely updates and resolving queries.
    Deliver empathetic and professional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of claims and renewal processes.
    Prepare regular reports on claims status, pending issues, and settlement trends for management review.
  5. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and other team members to ensure seamless claims handling and renewals.
    Liaise with external parties, such as loss adjusters, legal advisors, and service providers, as required.
  6. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal guidelines for claims and renewals.
    Identify potential fraud or risks and escalate them promptly for further investigation.
