Job Title: Design & Application Engineer – Bellows / Expansion Joints (Oil & Gas / Power)
Job Summary:
Design and application engineering of metallic bellows and expansion joint systems for critical piping applications in the Oil & Gas and Power sectors. Responsible for engineering calculations, proposal preparation, customer interface, and technical support throughout project execution, ensuring compliance with industry codes and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed design and stress calculations of bellows/expansion joints in accordance with relevant standards such as EJMA, ASME Section VIII, and ASME B31.3.
Prepare techno-commercial cost estimates and competitive proposals based on client specifications, project scope, and RFQs.
Develop General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) and submit for customer approval, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Participate in technical clarification meetings with EPC contractors and end users to finalize design and project scope.
Provide technical support during order execution, including design validation, document review, and resolution of site or manufacturing queries.
Contribute to engineering design standardization and optimization (EDS), achieving cost savings and improved product performance.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, QA/QC, and procurement to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
