Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on all types of refrigeration systems including display chillers, freezers, undercounter units and ice machines.
Carry out full servicing and repair of cold rooms, including defrost systems, evaporators, condensers, sensors, door gaskets, heaters, and drainage.
Service, troubleshoot, and calibrate hot kitchen equipment, including:
Combi Ovens (Unox, Rational, Electrolux)
High‑speed ovens (TurboChef, Merry chef, Unox)
Commercial dishwashers (Winterhalter, Hobart, Electrolux)
Hot holding units and other kitchen appliances (Electrolux, Roller grill)
Conduct refrigeration tasks including leak detection, recovery, evacuation, charging, brazing, pressure testing, and recommissioning.
Monitor PPM service for FAHU and Ecology units.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, spare parts manual and use diagnostic tools (multimeter, gauges, leak detectors, sensors).
Monitor, plan, and execute PPM schedules for all refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all PPM tasks as per OEM and internal standards.
Track overdue PMs and escalate any risks or repeated issues to the Manager.
Ensure PPM compliance aligns with HACCP, HSE, and audit requirements.
Update all maintenance activities, findings, and parts usage in the maintenance dashboard
Assist operational teams with equipment usage guidelines to reduce errors and breakdowns.
Provide equipment operation and cleaning guidance to staff to maintain performance and hygiene standards.
Respond efficiently to emergency breakdowns and ensure quick resolution to minimize downtime.
