- Responsible for the follow-up of a fleet of equipment as defined by Engineering Department.
- Keep up the servicing of all terminal equipment (STS cranes, RTG cranes, reach stacker, empty handler, Terminal Trucks), with different working systems.
- Identify deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements.
- Ensure that the allocated fleet of equipment is in good and safe working condition.
- Assist with planning of works to be carried out as per the number of work orders outstanding and waiting PM scheduling.
- Ensure database is kept up to date and KPI’s are on target.
- Create job plans and procedures in Maximo to simplify and standardize the job execution.
- Create PM for new equipment in the system & implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Support in house engineering teams and subcontractor as regards to planning of maintenance activities and provide on-going training and expertise as and when necessary.
- Monitor KPIs for its fleet of equipment and proactively address issues in order to sustain and improve KPIs within the benchmarks as established by the company.
- Prepare budgets for the equipment categories and ensure that running costs on a monthly basis do not exceed agreed thresholds.
- Ensure that Subcontractors work on the equipment is carried as per requirement and contract regarding quality, period and costs.
- Review PM maintenance schedules on an ongoing basis when and where required in order to ensure that maintenance program is dynamic and is updated according to the changing operational scenarios within which the equipment is operating.
