- Monitor ink levels, adjust color settings, and perform color matching to achieve precise color reproduction on printed materials.
- Review job orders and specifications to determine production requirements and materials needed for each print run.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and production teams to optimize print layouts and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used and job completion times for reporting purposes.
- Train and mentor junior operators in machine operation and best practices in offset printing.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in the printing process.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new printing technologies to enhance skills and improve efficiency in operations.
