About the Role

We are a growing construction company based in Sharjah, UAE, seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction planning and scheduling, with hands-on experience in villa and building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using planning software (Primavera P6 / MS Project).

• Prepare baseline programs, progress reports, and lookahead schedules.

• Track project progress against planned timelines and highlight delays or deviations.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate schedule updates.

• Analyze schedule impacts, identify critical path activities, and recommend corrective actions.

• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to management and clients.

• Support the preparation of project claims, EOT (Extension of Time) submissions, and variation assessments.

• Assist in resource planning and manpower allocation in line with project requirements.

• Participate in project meetings and provide planning input as required.
