Procurement & Supply Management
Plan and manage procurement of raw materials for corrugated packaging production such as kraft paper, test liner, fluting medium, adhesives, inks, and packaging consumables.
Ensure timely sourcing of machinery, spare parts, and maintenance materials for corrugation machines and converting lines.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure continuous supply of materials.
Prepare purchase orders and ensure procurement is completed within approved budgets.
Vendor Management & Negotiation
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent supply and service quality.
Conduct supplier performance evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards.
Manage contracts, agreements, and SLAs.
Cost Control & Budget Management
Monitor material costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value engineering.
Prepare procurement budgets and track expenditures against approved budgets.
Analyze market trends in raw material pricing and recommend purchasing strategies.
Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
Coordination with Production & Planning
Coordinate with production, planning, and warehouse teams to understand material requirements.
Ensure procurement supports production schedules and delivery commitments.
Manage urgent material requirements and resolve supply chain issues affecting production.
Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate procurement documentation including purchase orders, supplier contracts, and delivery records.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.
Support quality and ISO standards related to purchasing processes.
Market Research & Strategic Sourcing
Monitor global and local market trends for paper and packaging raw materials. • Explore alternative suppliers and materials to improve cost efficiency.
Support long-term procurement strategies for sustainable supply.
ERP & Process Management
Ensure all procurement activities are recorded in the ERP system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
Maintain accurate supplier and item master data
Improve procurement workflows and approval processes
Support ERP implementation and continuous improvement
Team Leadership
Lead and supervise procurement officers and store coordination
Train team members on procurement procedures and ERP usage
Set KPIs and monitor team performance
