  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed, negotiating contracts and ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely procurement support.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels using procurement software or spreadsheets.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and initiate corrective actions or supplier development programs as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to optimize purchasing strategies and processes.
