- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies during all inspection activities, promoting a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to address identified issues and develop effective solutions.
- Stay current with API 653 standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements through continuous professional development.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on tank inspection, repair, and maintenance procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate corrosion rates, utilizing techniques like ultrasonic testing and other methods to determine tank life and remaining thickness.
- Witness and verify non-destructive examination (NDE) activities, such as radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and magnetic particle testing (MT).
