- System Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP PP and QM modules, addressing user issues, system bugs, and process errors.
- Resolve production planning and quality management process-related issues by analysing root causes and providing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and SAP Basis teams to resolve technical issues impacting system performance.
- Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
- Analyse production and quality management business processes and suggest improvements to enhance SAP module efficiency.
- Conduct regular system health checks and performance analyses to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Implement enhancements, process refinements, and additional functionalities in SAP PP and QM to meet business needs.
- User Training & Support:
- Provide training and documentation to end-users on SAP PP and QM functionalities and any system updates or changes.
- Offer ongoing user support and guidance to ensure proper utilisation of the SAP system.
- Conduct workshops to improve users' proficiency with SAP tools and promote best practices in production and quality processes.
- Data Maintenance & Reporting:
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of master data, including BOMs (Bill of Materials), routings, work centres, production versions, and inspection plans.
- Generate and analyse reports related to production planning, capacity planning, and quality control to provide insights for management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, customisations, and process flows.
- Integration & Process Alignment:
- Monitor the integration of SAP PP and QM modules with other modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI, CO) to ensure seamless data flow and business process continuity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, quality, procurement, and finance) to ensure alignment between SAP system capabilities and business requirements.
- Continuous Monitoring & Compliance:
- Ensure that quality management processes in SAP comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Regularly review and audit quality management processes to ensure that they meet quality standards and certification requirements (e.g., ISO, GMP).
- Implement and maintain SAP inspection protocols, control points, and quality notifications to enhance quality tracking and reporting.
- System Enhancements & Upgrades:
- Coordinate with SAP consultants and developers to implement system upgrades, patches, or new functionalities in SAP PP and QM.
- Test new features and system changes to ensure proper functionality and impact on production and quality processes.
- Manage the change control process to ensure that any system enhancements or modifications are properly tested and documented.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather feedback and requirements for system enhancements or process changes.
- Act as a liaison between the business and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of business needs and technical constraints.
- Support cross-functional projects that require SAP PP and QM expertise, contributing to overall system efficiency and business alignment.
