Selected candidates will be required to perform, but not limited to, the following duties:
Rope handling, knotting, and splicing
Mooring and unmooring operations
Chipping, painting, and basic carpentry
Firefighting and emergency response
Oil spill response and pollution control
Cleaning and maintenance of buoys and navigational aids
General marine and port-related operational duties
Candidates with marine mechanical experience will have an added advantage.
