Technical Sales & Consultation: Serve as a subject matter expert for Goltens' full suite of services, including diesel engine repairs, in-situ machining, and green technology retrofits (e.g., BWTS, Scrubbers). Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, understanding their challenges, and providing customized engineering solutions. Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrating the value proposition of Goltens' services.
Project Design & Proposal: Develop and manage the entire pre-sales technical process, including conducting feasibility studies, creating detailed project designs, and estimating man-hours and costs. Prepare comprehensive technical proposals and quotations that accurately reflect the scope of work and align with client requirements and budget. Conduct on-site surveys and data collection (including 3D scanning if required) to ensure project specifications are accurate and feasible.
Customer Relations & Support: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction. Assist with troubleshooting and technical issues that arise during project execution and after project completion. Actively seek opportunities for repeat business and upselling by identifying additional client needs.
Collaboration & Reporting: Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, and workshop teams to ensure seamless project handoff and execution. Prepare and present detailed reports on sales forecasts, project status, and market trends to management.
