  1. Project Planning and Scheduling:
    • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases. (Level 1,2,3&4)
    • Break down the project into tasks and milestones, creating work breakdown structures (WBS).
    • Utilize project management tools (such as Primavera P6, MS Project) to prepare Gantt charts, critical path method (CPM) analyses, and schedule reports.
    • Coordinate with project teams to gather input and update the project schedule.
    • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
  2. Coordination and Communication:
    • Act as the point of contact for scheduling between various departments (engineering, procurement, construction).
    • Ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of progress, risks, and schedule changes.
    • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly project reports on schedule status to management and clients.
    • Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders to review project performance and address concerns.
  3. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks or delays in the project timeline and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Analyze the impact of changes, delays, or scope modifications on the overall project schedule.
    • Suggest corrective actions to bring the project back on track if deviations occur.
  4. Procurement and Resource Planning:
    • Track procurement schedules and ensure that all materials, equipment, and resources are available on time.
    • Ensure the timely delivery of key procurement activities in line with project requirements.
    • Coordinate resource allocation and optimize workforce planning to meet project needs.
  5. Cost and Performance Monitoring:
    • Work with the cost control team to monitor budget versus actual performance and assist in financial forecasting.
    • Analyze schedule performance data and provide insight into project costs and potential savings.
    • Support the project manager in identifying and resolving scheduling issues that could lead to cost overruns.
  6. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and present project schedule progress reports to senior management, stakeholders, and clients.
    • Maintain and update all project documentation related to scheduling, including logs and reports.
    • Document any changes or modifications to the schedule and ensure proper change control procedures are followed.
  7. Support Project Execution:
    • Assist in the preparation of bid documents related to schedule and project timelines.
    • Ensure project activities align with client and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with the project management team to support the execution of the project plan.
