Role Purpose-

The Senior Purchasing Analyst is responsible for managing the procurement process and ensuring accurate and controlled processing of invoices and project budgets. This role ensures the timely acquisition of products and services at competitive prices while adhering to organizational policies and established vendor agreements. The analyst will assess purchasing requirements, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize procurement strategies to effectively support IT operations.

Responsibilities-

Contract, Procurement & Commercial Management

  • Manage end-to-end IT procurement processes, including requisition review, quotation evaluation, internal approval and coordinating with contracts depart till the issuance of the Contracts.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies, internal controls, and approval workflows.

  • Resolve procurement-related issues, including delayed deliveries, invoice discrepancies, and contract clarifications.

  • Maintain records of suppliers, contracts, and procurement documentation for audits and reporting.

  • Ensure timely issuance and recording of Work Orders, as well as certification of invoices, through close coordination with technical counterparts

  • Maintain accurate financial tracking of contract-related costs consumptions based on the work order issued and invoices processed.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate and timely resolve commercial and procurement-related risks.

  • Develop effective reporting mechanisms for assisting program and project managers in reporting the status and health of their programs/projects.


5 years of experience in a similar role

  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and financial analysis.

  • Knowledge of public procurement frameworks, including tendering, bidding, and compliance regulations, is an added advantage

  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred

  • Advanced study and/or management training (PMP, Governance) are desirable


Required Skillset:

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

  • Strong commercial skills, including cost tracking, invoice processing, account reconciliation, and project closure

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Highly organized and process-driven, with the ability to optimize procurement workflows.

  • Proactive problem-solving abilities to address procurement challenges effectively

  • Experience in developing and maintaining key project metrics.
