Job Title: Solar Engineer (Technical)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Solar Engineer (Technical) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical design, implementation, and optimization of solar energy systems, ensuring high performance, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted) based on project requirements and site conditions.

• Perform technical assessments, site surveys, and feasibility studies.

• Prepare system layouts, electrical schematics, and detailed engineering drawings.

• Conduct energy yield analysis and system performance modeling.

• Select appropriate components (modules, inverters, mounting systems, etc.) and ensure technical compatibility.

• Provide technical support during procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.

• Troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and international best practices.

• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project handover materials.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

• Proven experience in solar PV system design and technical implementation.

• Strong knowledge of solar engineering principles, electrical systems, and grid integration.

• Proficiency in design and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope or similar).

• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations in Saudi Arabia is a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.

• Good command of English (Arabic is an advantage).
