Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to develop solution architecture across airline domains such as Commercial, Customer, Digital, Cargo, Airport, Engineering, and enterprise platforms.
Working within assigned value streams, the architect will define solution intents aligned with regulatory requirements, architecture standards, business needs, budgets, and IT strategy.
This role plays a key part in the Agile transformation journey, delivering cost-effective, scalable, and high-quality technology solutions. Infrastructure engineers not required.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Design and own end-to-end, holistic solution architecture aligned with enterprise standards and best practices
Create solution intent and low-level design artifacts (ICDs, ICMs, etc.)
Define and implement architecture patterns, standards, and enablers for value streams
Deliver solution architecture across Agile and Waterfall models, ensuring innovation, speed, and cost efficiency
Ensure adherence to architecture governance, principles, and Well-Architected Framework
Collaborate with stakeholders across DTI to align solutions with technology roadmaps, business capabilities, and strategy
Drive microservices and SOA-based architecture adoption
Evaluate and introduce new technologies to enhance business value and delivery efficiency
Contribute to improving architecture practice maturity, standards, and governance
Support and maintain business capability models
Work closely with business and engineering teams to ensure solutions are implemented as designed
