Job Summary:
The Steward Supervisor is responsible for supervising the stewarding team to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment. This role also involves maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, overseeing waste management procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train stewarding staff on cleaning procedures and hygiene standards
• Monitor cleanliness of kitchen, dishwashing area, and equipment
• Ensure proper storage and handling of kitchen tools and chemicals
• Maintain par stock of cleaning materials and coordinate replenishment
• Enforce safety protocols and sanitation regulations
• Support kitchen and service teams during operations and events

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in stewarding, with 1 year in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards (HACCP preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
