Perform on-site technical tasks including the installation of fiber optic cables (FTTH), configuration of ONTs/Routers, and maintenance of copper or wireless network equipment.
Carry out routine tasks involved in installing and maintaining the customer apparatus peripherals and connected plant for various Voices and Data services with minimal supervision and guide.
Prepare for daily work assignment by requisitioning equipment and supplies from warehouse, and stocking vehicle as needed.
Attend service fulfilment requests within the defined appointment slots.
Attend fault docket assurance requests within the unallocated slots scheduled by the controllers.
Coordinate with the CTSC for any advanced technical support requirement while being at the customer premise.
Log all activities performed on the field in the PDA appropriately (arrival, job acceptance and completion time).
Present at customer premise until the completion of the job, unless approval is acquired from the team leader and the customer has received a new appointment date.
Ensure accurate reporting of the incomplete jobs to the controller to ensure accurate communication (wrong EID, FDH splitter unavailability).
Update PDA with information related to customer link before leaving the customer.
Clean work area upon completion of job.
Demonstrate prompt, smart and courteous behaviour in dealing with customers.
Inform customer about the necessity for calling the appointment centre for rescheduling required activities.
Maintain proper attire, hygiene and professionalism.
Show keenness in continuous learning, upgrading knowledge and skills in the functional area of specialization.
