Role Purpose-
Responsible for overseeing all Venue related Technology Systems within the Cluster. This role involves managing the installation, maintenance, and operation of all technological equipment, ensuring seamless integration and performance for events and daily operations
Responsibilities-
Operation and Technical Support of ICT Solutions and Event Support
Oversee and manage the operation of Cluster Venues entire lifecycle of Technology services and solutions.
Coordination with Stadium Authority, Facility Management and Security Team regarding the Stadium ICT Scope.
Follow up with Venue ICT Team for any pending or ongoing issues related to ICT, ELV system or ICT related services and ensure necessary action taken.
Coordinate with Security and Stadium Authority for any approval related to Material In, Material Removal Permit and Venue Access Permit for ICT, ELV suppliers
Ensure all the IT Service Desk tickets are updated and assigned to the respective team for necessary action
Provide assistance and guidance to the Venue ICT team
Coordinate with all involved stakeholders for the ongoing rectification of ICT System in the stadium.
Planning and coordination activities to ensure that all Venues IT infrastructure and serviced and checked to ensure readiness.
Interfacing with all necessary stakeholders required to support and maintain IT infrastructure.
Maintaining and supervising all the physical spaces / Technical rooms where IT infrastructure equipment are installed.
Monitoring and tracking ICT related issues and risks to ensure that they are resolved in coordination with the relevant stakeholders and service desk.
Improve operational excellence by meeting customer satisfaction and ensuring all incident/quote/request is closed within SLA target.
Oversee the solutions' maintenance activities, including PPM and CM.
Maintain records of all system installations, configurations, and maintenance activities to support venue operations and troubleshoot issues.
Ensure all the ICT Assets in the venue are in place and update the asset list. Tracking of all the IT assets in the venue including storage spaces housing IT assets.
Delivery of Venue ICT Services and Support for Events
Support site visits and surveys to assess the status of existing systems and gather the necessary data for further assessment.
Coordinate the project installation plans with the venue teams and ensure quality checks are performed on the delivery process and standards throughout the process.
Conduct system testing and commissioning to verify that all components operate as expected and meet performance criteria.
Oversee the installation of AV/ELV systems, ensuring they are installed correctly and function as intended.
Manage the operational planning and technology allocation design sessions with other functional areas to capture their technology requirements for the event.
Coordinate and collaborate with event organizers to understand their technical requirements and ensure all necessary equipment and systems are in place and Act as a point of contact for clients regarding technical requirements and support.
Ensure all the ICT/Venue Technology related request by event organizers and end users are fulfilled and ensure smooth handover.
Coordinating with various stakeholders in the stadiums for the event planning, readiness, and ICT
Venue Technology scope delivery
Provide technical support during events to ensure smooth operation of all technology systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in real-time. Ensure all technology systems are operating efficiently.
Manage and coordinate with vendors and service providers for event-specific technology needs.
Support the event bump-in activities and provide necessary technical support, systems setup, and adjustment to cater to the event's operational requirements, ensuring everything is ready and functioning correctly.
Oversee the installation of event overlay ICT systems, including wiring, mounting displays, setting up sound systems, and configuring control systems.
Coordinate the overlay system integration with the venue solutions for event operational requirements as necessary.
Conduct solutions acceptance tests with the event organizer for sign-off and readiness confirmation before events.
Provide on-site technical support during events to handle reported issues.
Monitor system performance and adjust as needed to ensure the best possible performance and experience.
Document event-specific setups, configurations, issues, and system performance for reporting and future reference.
Perform post-event system checks as part of the event bump-out activities.
Qualification-
12+ years of experience in ICT and AV/ELV system implementation, maintenance, and support preferably in sports venues or large-scale events.
Education:
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
Or Bachelor of Computer Engineering
Or other related field
And Professional certifications in project management are preferred.
Required Skillset:
Experience in ICT Infrastructure, AV/ELV solutions like video conferencing, public address (PA) systems, sound reinforcement, and video display technologies, IPTV, and TV infrastructure Broadcasting, CCTV, Access Control, and turnstiles systems, etc.
Proven experience in IT management, preferably in a venue or hospitality environment.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
